Wall Mounted Panel ERGOLINE Each bed shall be equipped with a wall-mounted vertical technical pannel ensuring the fitting out of electrical and medical gas equipment. Installed at 50 cm (20 in) from the floor, its lay out shall comply with floor sketches. The technical panel shall be in powder coated or anodized aluminium (on request, subject to the manufacturer's proposal), segregated in compartments and closed by 2 covers. Power and medical gas supply shall come in from the false ceiling or the side of the column through aluminium raceways divided in compartments the same finishing as the pannel. The electrical and medical gas fittings are completely modular, which allows the components to be extended, moved, removed or maintained without cutting the housing. The design of the technical unit also allows an invisible yet efficient ventilation of the medical gas compartment, and a mechanical separation between electrical and medical gas networks. The covers shall be wired to the earth at the bottom of the unit. Prong systems are prohibited. Each lamp shall be individually and firmly attached to its batten which can be easily disconnected and removed from the unit. So to ensure that at least one of the two lamps works properly, ELV power supply shall be provided for each lighting control as well as for the control of motorized shutters. The round curves and smooth surface of the product enable its safe use and easy cleaning. Particular attention shall be paid to the robustness of the pannel able to resist collisions with the bed or bedside table. As a Biolume product of the “ERGOLINE” type or equivalent, for each bed it shall be equipped with : General up lighting (100 to 150 lux) by 3 built-in 24w compact tubes, protected by a polycarbonate opaline diffuser, and controlled from the bed by handset and from the entrance of the room by push-button. Reading light (300 lux on the reading area) by an 11w fluorescent lamp articulated on an airtight corrugated tube of 80 cm (30 in) controlled from the bed by handset. Night lighting by a 5w fluorescent lamp controlled from the entrance of the room. 3 earthed 2x10/16 A sockets pre-wired on 1 line. 1 earthed 2 x 10/16 pre-wired socket at the lowest extremity for the electrical bed. 1 telephone socket not pre-wired (under responsibility of extra low voltage contractor). 1 auto-release socket pre-wired for handset connection. 1 pre-wired IP64 dustproof 3-function handset enabling : ⋅ ⋅ ⋅ nurse call by push-button with reassurance LED. control of general up lighting. control of reading light. The electronic latching relays – noiseless models – are individually ELV self-supplied for the remote control of lightings. 2 pre-piped medical gas outlets (1 Oxygen and 1 Vacuum).
