The MIX 4 and MIX 5 safety gas mixers are designed to supply medical gas mixtures (O²/N²O or O²/Air) with high precision. These devices are primarily used in workrooms, operating theatres, and examination rooms. Key features include the ability to deliver very low flow rates, high precision through twin reading tubes, separate gas flow readings, and individual calibration of flowmeters. They are insensitive to supply pressure variations and include safety regulations to prevent oxygen concentrations below 20%. In case of oxygen supply failure, nitrous oxide is completely cut off, and an audible alarm is triggered. An auxiliary oxygen supply outlet and an integrated oxygen bypass push button are also included.
