Open the catalog to page 1Thread the hook-and-loop tapes through the D-ring (a) and position both Vas-Clamps loosely below the needle puncture sites before removing the needles. The free end of the hook-and-loop tape should be on the right side of the patient‘s arm (b). Provide sterile gauzes and remove the needle as usual. Initially press the puncture site with the gauze by hand (b). Then position the Vas-Clamp over the needle site and hold in place with your thumb until the VasClamp is secured.
