Random PrimerInstruction for Use Random Hexamer Primer Description: Random Primer is a mixture of single stranded random hexanucleotides with 5’ and 3’ hydroxyl ends, presenting all theoretically hexamer sequences possible with a length of d(N)6. The Primer binds to complementary regions of the RNA or DNA template and therefore can be can be used for first-strand cDNA synthesis. Random Primer are purified by HPLC and are supplied in lyophilized form. Application: This product is used in Reverse Transcription or to prepare labelled DNA-probes for hybridization methods like FISH and northern or southern blotting. Concentration: For an end concentration of 100 pmol/^l (100 ^M), dissolve the Random Primer in the nuclease free water. Please make sure to not introduce contaminants like DNases or RNases. For REF 403010, dissolve the content in 760 ^l water. For REF 403011, dissolve the content in 1520 ^l water. n JL. / • The sensitivity of cDNA synthesis can be increased by using a mixture of Random “ • Oligo(dT)Primer is available at BIORON with REF 509003/ 509004.
