Gel-Pro Series Gel-Pro® PositionP L U S ® GEL-PRO ® POSITION The Gel Pro® Position Plus® Cushion provides the most advanced pressure relieving therapeutic support and positioning available. The Gel Pro® Position Plus® Cushion allows therapists to offer correct posture, proper spinal alignment, trunk stability and all the pressure relieving characteristics required for a seating application. Available in low profile design. The Vyvex III® top cover is a low shear, stretch urethane, which is fluid and stain proof. The bottom cover is a non-skid tri-laminate vinyl. Model 6250 The front abduction wedge maintains proper midline alignment and reduces internal rotation of the hips in addition to preventing sliding and shearing forces. The cushion’s top layer is Viscotec®, a heat activated memory foam which surrounds and supports the bony prominences while reducing interface pressure. The middle layer is VPF®, a high density pressure relieving foam, encapsulating an ultra soft viscous gel bladder further reducing interface pressure. A Medflex® foam base provides the necessary foundation to ensure that the patient maintains the proper stability, support and correct spinal alignment. All foams and cover materials are anti-microbial and meet California Technical Bulletin #117 for fire retardency.
