The HINGED Boston Band is a cranial remolding orthosis designed for ease of use by both technicians and parents. It features an easy-open mechanism that simplifies modifications during fitting and follow-up appointments. For parents, the design allows for easy donning and doffing, reducing the struggle with the plastic and making it easier to manage with a child.

Introduction to the Pre-cut VOID:
The pre-cut VOID is now available, prepared by technical staff. Developed at Children’s Hospital Boston in collaboration with craniofacial and pediatric neuro specialists, this is the Boston Band. The VOID is believed to contribute significantly to the above-average patient outcomes.

Treatment Time and Outcomes:
While the industry standard treatment time ranges from 4 to 6 months, the majority of patients using the Boston Band are discharged within 16 weeks, which is less than 4 months. This data is based on samples from NOPCO clinics in the Boston area from October to December 2012.
