3MQ Series - DC Motor
The 3MQ Series is a liquid diaphragm pump equipped with a DC motor, designed by Boxer Pumps. It offers a free flow rate of 3.4 liters per minute and can handle a maximum pressure of 2.0 bar and a maximum vacuum of -500 mbar. For gas or dry applications, the free flow rate is 6.5 liters per minute with a maximum suction height of 3.0 meters H2O.
The pump operates on 12 or 24 V DC with power consumption ranging from 7.0 to 11.0 watts. Terminal resistance is specified at 6.5 Ω for 12 V and 25.0 Ω for 24 V. The wire length is 300 mm, with 7 mm stripped and tinned, and uses 22 AWG wire gauge. EMC suppression is achieved with 2 x L (2 x 3.9 µH). The maximum motor surface temperature is 80 °C, and it has a motor insulation class of E. The recommended PWM frequency is greater than 16 kHz.
The pump can operate in ambient temperatures up to 50 °C and handle media temperatures up to 100 °C. Elastomer options for diaphragms, valves, and O-rings include EPDM, Nitrile, Viton, and Silicone. Other wetted parts are made from PPS (polyphenylene sulphide). The pump is supplied with a mounting bracket and weighs 545 grams.
