WARNINGS AND SAFETY INFORMATION The instrument complies with “UL 61010 Electrical Equipment For Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use (US, Canada, and Europe)”, electromagnetic compatibility, and the stipulated safety requirements. The instrument is Equipment Class I, Pollution Degree 2, and Installation Category II. The instrument contains a lithium coin cell battery to power the clock when the instrument is turned off. Do not lift the instrument using the vial ramp. Lift from the instrument body instead. Do not open the instrument housing except as directed by this manual. There are no user serviceable parts or user adjustments to be made inside the instrument, except as described herein. Any other maintenance inside the instrument is to be performed by factory-trained technicians only. Any other unauthorized inspection and/or maintenance of the instrument will void the warranty. The outside housing of the instrument should be cleaned with a mild household detergent such as Formula 409 and a soft, lint-free cloth. The touchscreen LCD should be cleaned with lens or eyeglass cleaner only. Paper towels should never be used, as they will scratch the instrument’s finish and the LCD. If methods that are more stringent are required, call Customer Service for recommendations. Cleaning of the flow system components is normally a factory operation. If components become contaminated, follow the directions for an isopropyl alcohol cleaning contained in §18.5 FILTER INSPECTION...

QUICK START GUIDE Follow this flowchart to get set up and testing quickly. Refer to §1 WARNINGS AND SAFETY INFORMATION. Refer to §3 UNPACKING, ACCESSORIES, AND SPARE PARTS. Refer to §7 INSTALLATION for installation guidance and §8 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS for any questions regarding navigating the instrument menu system or user interface. After the dry gas source is connected, perform §18.6 Flow Check and Adjustment to ensure the proper flow rate to the instrument. UNPACKING, ACCESSORIES, AND SPARE PARTS The Computrac® Vapor Pro® XL is easy to operate and ready for use upon receipt from the factory. • Remove the instrument from the packing material. Do not lift the instrument using the vial ramp; lift from the instrument body instead. • Retain all packaging materials for any future shipment of the instrument.
