5100 Multigas Analyser

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Rapidox 5100 Multigas Analyser is a portable instrument designed for the analysis, control, and monitoring of gases in various applications such as biogas, syngas, anaerobic digestion, and fermentation processes. It is highly configurable to meet individual customer requirements and includes several standard features to enhance functionality.
Key Features:
  • Continuous data logging with USB download capability.
  • Multi-language support.
  • Charges on worldwide mains voltage.
  • Integrated thermal printer.
  • Customizable sensor combinations.
  • 7" full-color touchscreen.
  • Lithium battery providing 8 hours of operation.
  • Heavy-duty IP66 case with password protection.
Gas Measurement: The analyser can measure up to six gases simultaneously using high precision sensors designed to avoid cross-interference. Safety is ensured with flashback arrestors where necessary. Measurable gases include O2, CO, CO2, O3, H2O, H2, H2S, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, Cl2, CH4, and C2H4.
Calorific Value Calculation: For applications involving energy-containing gases, the calorific value is determined using thermodynamic calculations and displayed on-screen.
Operational Modes: An optional pump allows for two modes of operation: activated for samples at atmospheric pressure or below, and deactivated for samples at higher pressures. Gas flow is manually regulated and displayed electronically.
Specifications:
  • Ambient Operating Temperature: -10°C to 40°C
  • Warm-up Time: 3-4 minutes at 20°C
  • Measurement Time: Approximately 2-4 minutes

5100 Multigas Analyser-1

5100 Multigas Analyser The Rapidox 5100 Multigas Analyser is a high specification portable instrument designed for the analysis, control and monitoring of gas in a wide range of applications including; biogas, syngas, anaerobic digestion and fermentation processes. Up to six gases are simultaneously measured using a range of high precision gas sensors; each sensor is specially designed and calibrated to avoid cross interference effects with background process gas, Safety is ensured by the inclusion of flashback arrestors in the gas measuring circuit where required. Measurable gases include oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), moisture (H2O), hydrogen (H2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrous oxide (N2O), sulphur dioxide (SO2), chlorine (Cl2), methane (CH4) and ethylene (C2H4). When configured for applications where the gases contain energy (e.g. Biogas, Syngas) the calorific value of the gas sample is determined using thermodynamic calculations and simultaneously logged and displayed onscreen. An optional pump enables two modes of operation. For samples that are taken from a gas source at atmospheric pressure or below, the pump is activated to draw a sample through the analyser. Alternatively, the pump can be deactivated when sampling from a source at a greater atmospheric pressure, allowing the gas to flow through the analyser. Gas flow is regulated manually via a rotary knob on the fascia and displayed electronically on the screen. Please contact Cambridge Sensotec for further information or to discuss your requirements.
