Illuminated Vial Shield
The Illuminated Vial Shield is designed to provide a lighted protective radiation shield for vials containing radioactive pharmaceutical solutions used in medical and research applications. It features a gravity-sensitive battery-powered lighting circuit that activates when the shield is inverted, allowing users to observe the solution volume clearly. The shield is made of tungsten with a leaded glass viewing window and a penetration in the lid for syringe access. A sliding section in the lid enhances shielding when not in use. Available in two sizes for 5 ml and 10 ml vials, the shield's dimensions include a tungsten thickness of 1/4" and a lead glass window thickness of 0.24".

Illuminated Vial Shield Monitor solution volume while withdrawing with ease! The Illuminated Vial Shield is designed to provide a lighted protective radiation shield for vials containing radioactive pharmaceutical solutions which are used in both medical and research applications. The shielded vial is illuminated by a gravity sensitive battery powered lighting circuit when the shield is turned upside down. The shielding material consists of tungsten with a leaded glass viewing window and penetration in the lid for syringe access to the solution in the vial. The tungsten version has a sliding section in the lid which can cover the penetration when not in use for improved shielding. The illumination circuitry allows the user to clearly observe the volume of solution which remains in the vial as various amounts are withdrawn from the vial during use. The Illuminated Vial Shield is available in two sizes, to accommodate a 5 ml and 10 ml vial.
