Digital image processing technology calculates detailed measurements of the new pill. The dimensions will be saved. 3. With any cassette being recalibrated in the Cassette Station, the KL-SR automatically adjusts the cassette for that pill size; the cassette stays calibrated, no future adjustment is needed. Change medications at any time – no need to order additional cassettes. 4. The medication database contains precise measurements for common NDCs, and your cassette will auto-calibrate. However, on occasion you will want to automate a new tablet or capsule that is not yet in the database (e.g., new generic). The KL-SR handles measurement and storage of the new pill dimensions.
