HeartCentrix® Specifications HeartCentrix Server Application Requirements Supported Operating Systems Windows 2008 Server Standard (32- or 64-bit) Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate/Enterprise) (32- or 64-bit) Windows 2003 Server Windows XP Professional General recommendations for HeartCentrix customers + Computer hardware must meet the minimum system requirements as defined by Microsoft® for your installed Windows operating system. + System performance on customer-supplied computers is the responsibility of the customer. + Anti-virus scanning software is the responsibility of the customer and should be installed on the customer-supplied computer. Additional server requirements, which apply to any operating system listed above: + Server computer required components: - Available hard drive space (application and data) - 200GB - Network interface card - DVD drive - Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) + Database (included with HeartCentrix software) - MS SQL Server 2008 Express R2 + Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) recommended + On-line backup device for HeartCentrix data. Regular on-line backup of the database is the customer’s responsibility. + Remote support access via GoToAssist™, RAS, VPN or similar Internet access application. If dial-up connection is directly to this machine, a modem and free communication port are required. HeartCentrix Client Application Requirements + Any of the following supported operating systems: - Windows 7 - all versions (32- or 64-bit) - Windows XP Professional SP2 (32- or 64-bit) - Windows VISTA® (Business, Ultimate, Premium, Home) (32- or 64-bit) - Windows 2000 Professional (32- or 64-bit) + Microsoft Internet Explorer® (Versions 7, 8, or 9) + Video Card: recommend support for 1024 X 768 at 65K colors or 1280 x 1024 at 65K colors + NOTE: The HeartCentrix client application can be installed in a thin client environment. + The computer hosting the HeartCentrix server application cannot be a domain controller. + NOTE: The HeartCentrix server application can be installed in a virtual environment.
