Track Systems The majority of track systems installed with the HS200 hoist are a simple straight length of track and when necessary a curve may be introduced. In some situations solutions as shown below are installed. It is important to identify your installation to ensure you fully understand the instructions for your system. Instructions for use 1. Prepare for Use - Check the hoist is fully charged, see note below on Battery Charging. - Check Handset buttons are functioning correctly. - Inspect lifting tape for signs of wear. - Check the transfer route is clear of obstacles. - Operator has been trained in the use of this equipment. 2. Sling Selection - Ensure that the correct sling is being used and not damaged in any way. It must be used by persons having had appropriate training and instruction in their use. 3. Raising and Lowering - Fit the sling in accordance with the Sling instructions ensuring the person...

Traverse Movement - Directional - After raising the person, check the colour (RED or BLUE) direction on the hoist unit and use the same colour button on the handset. - Press and hold the coloured handset button and the hoist will move slowly off in the chosen direction. - When in the correct position release the button and the unit will stop. - Ensure the person is not swinging prior to lowering. Instructions for use 7. XY Link - This additional product provides the facility to exit one XY System through to another track configuration this can be straight track or another XY system. Once the person has been raised using the UP/DOWN buttons the RED/ BLUE direction buttons are used to move the hoist along the Boom section. The Boom section is manually pushed to travel along the fixed parallel tracks to the link gate and pushed into the mechanism, this will engage the Boom section into the transition gate and release the locking mechanism.
