The unrestricted ankle allows full dorsiflexion-plantarflexion movement for continual development of ankle control skills during standing and ambulation. The wrap-around hindfoot trimline gives the DAFO 4 Softy superior control over the hindfoot while allowing free ankle movement. The unrestricted ankle control allows the brace to facili- tate floor-to-stand transitions while effectively limit- 1. Have control over dorsiflexion range to allow stance in the corrected foot position 2. Demonstrates mild levels of high/low tone 3.
