Patent Pending Maximum Control Foot Orthosis KEY CONCEPT: FLEXIBLE LATERAL/MEDIAL FOREFOOT CONTAINMENT, CONTROLS MILD TO MODERATE PRONATION/SUPINATION The DAFO 5 Softy uses a soft foam liner to provide comfort and flexible containment of the lateral/medial forefoot. The lower plastic trimline provides good hindfoot stability without compromising comfort. The heel remains stable in the corrected position while the soft foam liner assists in containing a mild to moderately pronated or supinated foot. The plantar surface flexible plastic shell extends distal to the Met Heads, transitioning into a flexible leather sole. The soft foam liner is ideal for patients with challenging foot anatomy, difficult to correct feet, or those prone to pressure points and irritation. RECOMMENDED FOR PATIENTS WHO: 1. Exhibit mild to moderate pronation or supination with adequate ankle control 2. Have mild heel eversion with forefoot abduction 3. Are larger/more mature 4.
