The brace provides superb control over the hindfoot, forefoot and ankle, blocking plantarflexion and dorsiflexion. The DAFO 8 Softy is suitable for standing transfers, yet is designed to provide supe- rior comfort in non-ambulatory situations. The brace is ideal for patients that require moderate force to maintain a proper foot position. The soft foam liner is ideal for patients with challenging foot anatomy, difficult to correct feet, or those prone to pressure points and irritation. 1.
