Product Data Sheet CTL-Wash™ Supplement 10x (serum-free wash buffer) Catalog #: CTLW-010 Lot: Product: CTL-Wash™ Supplement 10x (100ml) Formulation: ™ Supplement 10x is a buffered, serum-free solution containing injection-grade CTL-Wash water supplemented with amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, and human serum albumin in a proprietary composition to provide a balanced environment for PBMC. CTL-Wash™ Supplement 10x is sold in convenient sterile 100ml units ready for dilution in 900ml sterile RPMI-1640. Slight fluctuations in pH might occur resulting in change of color – however, such changes do not affect the medium’s performance. Storage: 4-8ºC (refrigerated), protected from light Recommended ™ is a 10x serum-free formulation to be diluted 1 + 9 with RPMI-1640. The RPMI-1640 CTL-Wash Usage: should be supplemented with 1% freshly-thawed glutamine less than 10 days prior to use. The obtained solution may be sterile filtered and should be used warm (20-37°) for washing. Diluted CTL-Wash™ can be safely stored at 4-8ºC for up to 20 days; however, 1% freshly thawed glutamine should be supplemented after 10 days. For best test results, pre-warm medium shortly prior to use to 20-37ºC, e.g., by placing in 37ºC CO2 incubator with loosened cap for approximately 20 minutes before adding to cells. The medium should be protected from light while working on bench top (e.g., by wrapping in aluminum foil). Prior to use, antibiotics can be added if required. Sterility: Sterile filtered and no growth observed over 14 days at 37ºC in incubator. QC: Each batch is tested for optimum performance in T cell ELISPOT assay.
