This model's optical resolution is designed for white light image analysis in the macroscopic spectrum. It has been an industry leader for colony counting in larger well formats; however, it's motorized zoom optics also extend the field of analysis to 96-well plates. Colonies of up to 12 different colors can be differentially counted in larger well formats. The S6 Macro M2 is high-throughput capable - up to 400 plates per run when equipped with our automated plate loader. It is specifically designed for regulated or academic visible light analysis, supporting 21 CFR part 11 compliant workflows.
