3. Immediate Restoration and Immediate Loading 4. Condensers/Implant diameter choice in the D3/D4-bone 1) Please observe conservative basic rules and individual medical history of the patient. 2) Before an implant-supported and prosthetic restoration, among others periodontology and the overall situation should be considered and assessed. 3) Please follow the recommendations of the "Konsenskonferenz Implantologie" (consensus conference Implantology): In the upper jaw, a minimum of 6 implants /teeth is recommended for a removable denture and 8 implants /teeth for a fixed denture. In the lower...

1) All Champions® implants can be inserted both using the minimally invasive method (without raising a mucoperiosteal flap, i.e. in a “flapless” way) and in a “classic” manner (with “full-flap”). They are particularly well suited for insertion following the secured MIMI® technique. An incision made with a scalpel or diamond turbine without raising a flap is also considered minimally invasive, as is a punch or direct penetration of the gingiva. 2) With Champions (R)Evolution® implants, the Shuttle (or the Gingiva-Clix to be clipped over it) should ideally terminate in a subgingival or equigingival...

3.Immediate Restoration and Immediate Loading Immediate loading is usually possible when ... ... a passive-fit denture is supported by a minimum of 4 implants /teeth. ... primary stability of 20 to 40 Ncm is achieved. ... w ith fewer than 4 implants /teeth (including single-tooth gaps), transitioning to the Secondary Osseointegration Stability phase (SOS) is recommended. The single crown should be integrated 8 weeks post-surgery! Please note: Champions® implants must only be placed and treated with the designated original Champions® instruments such as Drills, Condensers, Insertion Aids, and...

4.Condensers / Implant diameter choice in the D3/D4-bone If the bone at the surgical site is soft (D3/D4), it is possible to transform soft bone into hard bone using Condensers in a minimally invasive way, which means to increase the D3/D4 bone densification, thus preparing it, for example, for immediate implantation. This process is known as “Osseous Metamorphosis.” Additionally, Condensers assist implantologists in selecting the appropriate implant diameter because it’s not the anatomy that determines the implant diameter, but rather the diameter of the corresponding Condenser that achieves...

1) Whenever possible – both in the maxilla and mandible – start the pilot drilling 0.5 to 1 mm in a palatal or lingual position to the center of the alveolar ridge. 2) After anesthesia in the MIMI technique, measure the mucosal thickness with the yellow Drill (laser markings start at 2 mm, then 4 and 6 mm, and continue at 10, 12, 14 mm, etc.) until the instrument makes contact with bone. 3) rilling should be done at a maximum of 250 rpm in the cortical bone and at D 70 rpm in the cancellous bone. 4) To ensure primary stability in the cancellous bone of the D1 and D2 bone, it is generally recommended...

Condensers Generalities: Condensers are used for condensing bone and as test instruments for determining the optimal implant diameter. Use them only in soft to medium-hard bone (D3 + D4). Champions® Condensers should not be used in hard bone (D1/D2). It is strongly recommended that you should use the Condensers according to the Condenser- Protocol. Failure to observe the maximum torque (40 Ncm) can cause damage to the handpiece. View of Condensers with Torque Wrench holder View of Condensers with Handpiece (HP)-Connection Before surgery: Care should be taken to ensure that the components, instruments,...
