Administering the Test
  1. Label the test with the patient's ID number.
  2. Collect the sample using a 5 μl pipettor or a 10 μl Microsafe® tube (for fingerstick samples).
  3. Touch the Microsafe® tube to the center of the sample well, holding it vertically.
  4. Slowly add 6 drops of buffer, holding the vial vertically.
  5. Read the test results at 15 minutes, referring to the possible results section.
