Construction
The fume cupboard features aluminium extruded uprights and a Fe37 steel frame painted with epoxy-polyester powder. Panels are made of PVB safety glass, and the unit includes a counterweighted frontal sash for easy operation. The worktops are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with optional reinforcements available.

Electric Control
The GS900 includes an electromechanical hour counter for routine tests and filter checks, along with a low air flow alarm. It features a three-step fan velocity system to maintain constant face velocity. Power supply requirements are 230 Volts, 50/60 Hz, and 3.2 A.

Additional Features
The fume cupboard comes with an Operator's Manual and Safety Log Book for recording inspections and ensuring compliance with relevant directives.

Compact filtration fume cupboard GS 900 Technical description common features of GS900 COMFIT s.r.l Via Viberti, 4 10141 Torino TO T. 011 720085 - F.011 728870 [email protected] www.comfit.org The GS900 filtration fume cupboard is a safety devices able to protect laboratory operators from the risk of inhaling harmful volatile chemicals directly recycling the laboratory air with a filtration system. It is completely mobile so it can be moved wherever protection is needed. With a 360° visibility of the worktop it is the best choice in case of scholastic purpose. The molecular air filtration process takes place through an adsorption process in one size "B" (450x600x100 mm) highly efficient activated or impregnated carbon filters. Preliminary filtration to remove environmental dust has carried on with one size "B" (450x600 mm) electrostatic prefilters with extremely high efficiency of 95% on particles of 0.5 µm. The unit is also able to equip additional safety filters (carbon filter or HEPA) downstream or upstream the main filter.
