Forearm Splints
- Wipe the exterior surface with a damp cloth.
- Use disinfectant or mild soap if necessary.
- Do not use cleaning fluid.
- Allow the pillow to air dry; do not use any appliance for drying.
- Select the correct size for the patient.
- Contour the aluminum to fit the individual patient's condition.
- Secure the splint to the hand using an elastic bandage.
