HIGH PERFORMANCE PACKAGING On 11th May 2020 the UK Government issued new guidance for employers to help get their businesses back up and running and workplaces operating safely. Developed in consultation with approximately 250 businesses, unions, industry leaders, Public Health England (PHE) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the new ‘COVID-19 secure’ guidelines are a best practice guide to the safest ways of working across the economy. Having remained fully operational across all manufacturing sites during the COVID-19 crisis, Coveris took comprehensive steps to make our workplaces COVID-19 free in March. Since then over 2,000 colleagues have continued to work in our plants, and the success of this approach is reflected in our low infection and self-isolation rates. Overall Risk Rating: On a scale of 1 (lowest risk) to 12 (highest risk), our risk assessment score is 3.5. Protecting employee health and well-being: The safety of Coveris employees is our highest priority. Across the UK, local teams have closely followed guidance from health authorities and government to protect the health and safety of employees across offices, production, and distribution facilities.
