It can be successfully employed in many demanding applications in dental clinics, for endodontics, periodontology and other surgical operations. Compared to conventional procedures, laser light reduces bleeding, pain and may help to minimize post-operative complications due to its decontamination effect. It is suitable for applications where anesthetics have to be avoided.
