UNDERSTANDING YOUR VILIGO TREATMENT: Your Journey with VITICELL® 1. Sample skin biopsy your dermatologist will use a dermatome to take a small healthy skin sample(dermo-epidermal biopsy) from the donor area, usually, higher thigh or gluteal area. 2. Controlled Cell Isolation Cells are isolated with an enzymatic process. 3. Recipient Site Preparation The Vitiligo Lesion (up to 100cm2) is de-epithelialized with a laser. 4. Cell Transfer The cell suspension is applied onto the recipient site, drop-by-crop using a syringe. 5. Protective Dressing Dressings are applied to protect the graft site and must be kept in place for 5-7 days. 5. Phototherapy Essential post-grafting step, to be started once erythema Disappears. Twice a week during up to 6 months.
