The Comparator Buzzer operates with an AC adapter ranging from 7.5 to 15 V DC and 500 mA. It functions optimally within a temperature range of -10 ˚C to 40 ˚C (14 ˚F to 104 ˚F) without condensation. The device features a multi-colored LED display indicating different statuses: LOLO (red), LO (yellow), OK (green), HI (yellow), and HIHI (red). The buzzer can reach a volume of up to approximately 95 dB, with a power consumption of about 2.1 VA when the LED is lit and the buzzer is at maximum volume. The device can connect to an A&D balance/scale with a comparator relay output, facilitating quicker and more accurate checkweighing or grading with both buzzer beeps and LED lights. Users can select from six different beep types, including mute, for each comparator step. The device uses the AC adapter of the balance/scale to operate and simultaneously supplies power to the balance/scale via the provided DC cable. The buzzer volume and LED brightness are adjustable. For loud buzzer settings (max. 95 dB), separate AC adapters are required for the AD-1612 and balance/scale.
