The light panel and microprisms smooth out the light in Triton and eliminate glare. This enhances both your ergonomics and your work quality. D-tec offers suspended luminaires that are easily mounted to the ceiling with wires and can be placed close to the work surface. The farther away a light source is, the weaker the light becomes — when the distance is doubled, the illuminance on the object is reduced to one quarter. Colour rendering & colour temperature In clinical environments, natural colour rendering is of great importance. D-tec’s luminaire offers high colour rendering, which is essential for assessing the colours of teeth, skin tones, tissues, and other important details. Triton D includes “Dynamic Light,” where the balance between the warm light in the center section and the cool light can be adjusted manually. When the AUTO function is activated, the warm light will slowly—though barely noticeably—fluctuate to simulate the shifting qualities of natural sunlight. Light source Colour temperature The dimmer function is controlled with IR signals from the remote control to adjust the light intensity as needed, or alternatively switched on and off with a pull switch without a dimming function. You can conveniently store two light settings — one welcoming lighting setup and another with higher light intensity for treatment.
