The QualityMix N2O-50 variant enables a maximum adjustable concentration ratio of 50% O2 and 50% N2O. The device is ideal for the dental practice. An overdose is not possible. The gas mixture is delivered via a flow meter with a connected nasal cannula. By pressing the flush button on the side, 100% oxygen can be administered at any time. All variants use oxygen as the carrier gas. Other variants: QualityMix N2O-50 FIX Fixed blender 50% N2O (50% O2), QualityMix N2O-70 adjustable blender 0 - 70% N2O (100 - 30% O2). Sufficient oxygen supply: In the Quality Mix N2O-70 variant, the patient is supplied with at least 30% oxygen; a lower value cannot be set. In the Quality Mix N2O-50 and N2O50 FIX variants, the oxygen supply is even at least 50% oxygen, so that there is always protection against the risk of hypoxia or anoxia. Nitrous oxide barrier / N2O feed stop: The supply of the N2O flow is automatically interrupted when the oxygen flow is interrupted. When the O2 flush is activated, the patient is immediately supplied with 100% O2, in the meantime the nitrous oxide supply is interrupted. Acustic alarm In the event of a gas failure (oxygen and / or nitrous oxide) an acoustic warning signal sounds to inform the user of a gas failure.
