Self-contained Monomer Fume Hood Dental workers exposed to high levels of monomer fumes frequently experience headaches, light headedness, skin irritation and even respiratory distress. Prolonged exposure can result in allergic reactions and other serious health consequences. The unit requires 110 VAC electrical current for operation of a quiet, motorized fan, which pulls offensive monomer fumes into the activated charcoal filter. The motorized fan is activated with a lighted power switch. The activated charcoal filter (No. 355) in the Self-contained Monomer Fume Hood (No. 360) absorbs noxious monomer fumes when placed next to an open container of monomer. The charcoal filter may be replaced when needed. The benchtop unit measures a compact 12" W x 6 ¼" H x 8 ¾" D. 866.DTE.INFO www.DentalEZ.com http://Blog.DentalEZ.com Follow us!
