Guided Surgery Instruments

Simplant SAFE Guide

Bone- and Mucosa-Supported Guides

Mucosa-Supported Procedure
This minimally invasive procedure is for edentulous patients. The guide must fit stably on the master cast and in the patient's mouth. A bite index ensures the guide records the same position as the scanning template. Fixation screws can be used if necessary.
Implant Site Preparation – Guided Surgery
The preparation involves several steps, including mucosal punching and initial drilling. The mucosal punch is used for flapless surgery, and the initial drill removes soft tissue. Drilling should be performed at a maximum speed of 1500 rpm with adequate cooling.
Drilling Protocol
The protocol varies for soft, medium, and dense bone qualities. Cortical preparation is marked in the protocol, and optional tapping is used for very dense bone.
Implant Installation
The PrimeTaper EV implant is placed using a specific driver at 25 rpm and a maximum of 45 Ncm. The alignment between the driver and guide ensures optimal placement of abutments.
Securing the Surgical Guide
