Product catalog summary
Introduction
This document outlines the procedure for using the plastic burn-out post, a method designed to ensure a simple and safe dental restoration process. The procedure involves several steps, including preparatory drilling, precision drilling, and taking impressions.

Preparatory Drilling
Select a special penetration drill to penetrate the root canal, ensuring the depth is adjusted for the prepared retaining box. If precision drilling cannot commence, pre-calibration with a special drill (REF C 0214) is recommended for root posts with a 1mm tip diameter.

Precision Drilling
Use a blunt-tipped special calibrating drill to prepare the canal to its final size. Advance in small steps to avoid jamming and stop when the guide preparation terminus is felt. Drill only once to ensure accuracy.

Inserting the Plastic Burn-Out Post
Test the fit of the plastic post by inserting it into the prepared canal without fully pushing it in. Ensure the conical portion aligns with the previously determined position. Once confirmed, push the post in completely for impression taking.

Taking the Impression
Inject impression material into the retention box and around the root post. Upon removing the impression tray, reposition the post head into the impression. A distinct "clip" sound indicates proper engagement.

Trying in the Post Before Luting
After casting in metal, modify the post to allow excess cement to escape and ensure a perfect seal. The burn-out plastic post can be replaced with a "GE-METRIC" root post in precious metal.

Reconstruction
Rebuild the tooth using standard procedures. The system offers perfect repositioning with the clip head and uses color-coded drills and posts for easy identification.

Additional Information
The document includes a transparent drawing for x-ray template assistance and offers refill options for posts. Technical modifications to products are not subject to notifications, and images are not contractual.

If Phase 1 fails to give a result allowing precision drilling (Phase 2) to be started, the canal can be pre-calibrated using the special precalibrating drill (REF C 0214) for all lengths of root post with a diameter of 1 mm at the tip. Before taking the impression Trying in the post before luting If several posts are to be used in a single tooth, check that their heads cannot interfere with each other during insertion. The impression tray must not be allowed to touch the head of any post. Inject the impression material into the retention box and around the root post (or posts). When you remove the impression tray, remove the post from the canal and reposition the head into the impression. After casting in metal, cut a flat all the way along the post, extending this flat by a groove running under the base and along the side...
