DiaLP System DiaLP kits Legionella pneumophila for qualitative real-time PCR DiaLP is an in vitro test for rapid qualitative real-time PCR based detection of Legionella pneumophila (LP) in water and air samples. The kit is CE marked IVD approved diagnostic test validated against reference materials. The hygienic control of water, waste water, and air treatment systems is strictly regulated all around the world. LP is the most dangerous microbial contamination of water- and air treatment systems (waterworks, air condition devices etc.). DiaLP system is a test for the detection of pathogenic Legionella DNAs identical to those of the most frequently examined Legionella pneumophila strains. Test principle DiaLP reagent system is validated for qualitative diagnostics of Legionella pneu- mophila in clinical and air samples and can be used on any real-time PCR platform with minimum three channels. The primer-probe pairs included are specific to unique sequences encoding both the pathogenic mip factor gene and 16S rRNA of Legionella pneumophila. Detection of 5 GU/ml, genome equivalent chromosomal LP DNA per ml of sample The DiaLP kit is designed to amplify specific Legionella pneumophila 16S rRNA genomic sequences and mip gene together with regulatory elements to increase selection of functional active microbes with 99% specificity.
