Surfacer System with Body 3D Reconstruction

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The Surfacer System is a non-invasive, portable device designed for fast and accurate diagnostics of spine and lower limb issues without radiation exposure. It utilizes three-dimensional reconstruction technology to provide detailed assessments.

Specifications
The system features non-contact optical scanning with a high-definition accuracy of +/- 1 mm. It projects structured lines onto the patient's back, capturing vertebral paramorphisms in approximately 20 milliseconds. The device is compact, requires no calibration, and is easily transportable with a height-adjustable stand.

Procedures
The Surfacer System conducts a three-dimensional study of the spine's paramorphism, misalignments, and anthropometric parameters. It evaluates the Cobb degrees of the spine using 3D Body Reconstruction Software and provides data on the left and right sides relative to the spinous process line.

Data Analysis
Altitude coordinates in the X-Y-Z plane are used to calculate asymmetries, rotation, and tilt of key indicators like shoulders and shoulder blades. The system also assesses the rib-hump wideness and provides sagittal plane values for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions.

Innovations
The Surfacer System highlights musculoskeletal asymmetries and tracks changes over time, including post-treatment results. It also evaluates lower limb misalignments, linking them with spinal analysis to provide comprehensive rotation values.

Conclusion
The Surfacer System offers a precise, non-invasive method for diagnosing and monitoring spine and lower limb conditions, enhancing patient assessment and treatment outcomes.

Surfacer System with Body 3D Reconstruction-1

Surfacer System with Body 3D Reconstruction Finally, the technology for posture A fast and accurate diagnostic for the problems of the spine and lower limbs Without the risk of radiation and with the accuracy of the three-dimensional reconstruction Surfacer is a non‐invasive device, transportable and easily to use, and does not require any particular illumination of the environment. A non‐contact optical scanning, integrated with a structure of lines projected onto the back of the patient, allows, in about 20 milliseconds, the acquisition vertebral paramorphisms with high reliability in data recording, thanks to a high definition of +/‐ 1 mm. Compared with other instruments of this kind on the market, the Surfacer System is distinguished by its compactness, speed of examination and ability to measure even the sloping surfaces, with automatic processing of the position of the pelvic dimples and of the spinous processes line. The system requires no calibration and is also easily transportable. A height‐ adjustable stative allows to easily adapting to any patient. This test completes the instrumental assessment of the patient, providing useful data for diagnosis of diseases such as idiopathic scoliosis and the most common spinal deformity and can be used regularly to highlight the improvement of the anthropometric parameters in response to therapies. Surfacer System non‐invasively acquire the information of the surface of the back and of the spine, allowing a three‐dimensional study of the paramorphism (at cervical, dorsal, lumbar and sacrum levels), misalignments of the spine and of the triangles of the size (without application of markers). Evaluates the curve Cobb degrees of the spine (with 3D Body Reconstruction Software). The values of the survey present the data of the left and right sides in respect to the spinous process line, according to the automatically detected landmarks.

Surfacer System with Body 3D Reconstruction-2

Altitude coordinates of the shape (in millimeters) detected for the X‐Y‐Z plan are used to calculate with numerical values the asymmetries between the right and the left side of the back, the degrees of rotation and tilt of the main reference indicators (shoulders, shoulder blades, SIPS, etc.).. For the entire surface are studied rotations of the back and of the spinous processes line in order to enhance the effective rib‐hump wideness (measured in mm and degrees). Surfacer System, through the same acquisition, shows also the values ...
