Creatinine is used for diagnosis and monitoring of renal dysfunction. The highly specific, liquid stable Creatinine PAP FS reagent offers good on-board and calibration stability; obtained results are traceable to the GC-IDMS reference method. Safe handling is guaranteed due to lack of hazardous ingredients. The widely used Jaffe method for creatinine measurement is known to be interfered by many other serum components (pseudo-creatinines) leading to biased results. Correction of the bias by compensation of the Jaffe method is not reliable in case of low creatinine concentrations as in pediatric...
