Bridge electrodes Sintered bridge electrodes can be used with or without felts. If the electrodes are used with felts, they need to be placed in saline before use - the felts should be disposed after use. If bridge electrodes are used without felts conductive gels are needed. Cup electrodes Cup electrodes are suitable for all types of surface EEG recordings and evoked potentials. Compared to gold cup electrodes, sintered cup electrodes create a lower DC potential.
