DESCODERM PADS provide a practical, timesaving and, thanks to the existing sterility of the product, an effective application for the disinfection and cleaning of valve membrane connectors. The wipes are individually packaged in a practical sachet. APPLICATIONS AND NOTES Acc. to EU Medical Devices Regulation For rapid disinfection and cleaning of alcohol-resistant medical devices (valve membrane connectors). Application Surface disinfection of medical devices (valve membrane connectors): Wipe surfaces until completely wet and allow to dry for 1 min. According to the EU Medical Device Regulation, users/patients are obligated to report any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the device to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the EU Member State in which the user/patient is established. Application notes Do not use if packaging is already opened or damaged. Product is sterilized in final packaging by gamma radiation. Composition 100 g solution contain: 63,1 g 2-propanol. Material compatibility The use is not recommended for the following materials: Polyethylene tere-phthalate (PET) and Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). For application on the following materials we recommend only under certain conditions: copper, brass and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS). Precautionary and hazard statements Propan-2-ol. Flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Dispose of contents/container to approved disposal company or local collection. For professional use only by personnel with corresponding specialist knowledge according to national directives.
