Main Features ► Two galvanically isolated RS485 interfaces ► Support for various serial protocols such as HDLC ► Standardized host interface for fast system integration - the same software interface may be used for all duagon PC/104 interface products. The D114RS is a multi-purpose RS485 interface with embedded processing power. It provides two RS485, one female and one male, SUB-D connectors. The interfaces are galvanically isolated from the internal logic and each other. The PC/104 board encapsulates all RS485-relevant functions, thereby freeing up resource on the host interface. Furthermore, the D114RS supports serial communication protocols such as HDLC. See "Ordering Information" or contact duagon for availability of additional protocols. The interface card is accompanied by a host driver packet, providing a unified application programming interface (API) to access the various protocols and functions. The host driver is based on a client-server model, where the host system acts as client and the D114RS as server.
