MYCOSCREEN® PLUS Products Conventional method - Detection based on the ability of U.urealyticum or M. hominis to metabolize urea or arginin. - Liquid method can be combined with an A7 agar plate. Differential diagnosis - Differentiation of U. urealyticum and M. hominis based on antimicrobial resistance profil. - Enumeration at a pathological threshold (104 CCU/ml) to differentiate commensal germs and pathogens from cervico-vaginal and urethral specimens. - Detection of 102-103CCU/ml level for other specimens, using the inoculated UMM medium.
