The Catchem’™ Polyp Trap is a medical device designed for the collection and transport of excised tissue during endoscopic procedures. It is available in two models: the ET2211 with removable chambers and the ET2213 with fixed chambers. Both models feature a 4-chamber design for organized specimen collection.
- Single-use design to minimize cross-contamination risks.
- Easy connection between the endoscope and suction canister.
- Clear plastic construction allows visual confirmation of polyp collection.
- Chambers are indexed for accurate specimen identification.
- Connect suction tubing to the center port on the trap and the outside tubing on the lid to the endoscope.
- Rotate the arrow on the lid to position tubing over chamber 1 and collect the specimen.
- Rotate the lid clockwise to position tubing over subsequent chambers (2, 3, and 4) for additional specimens.
- Disconnect suction tubing and trap tubing from the endoscope after collection.
- Transfer specimens to a transport vial and discard the trap.
Both models are packaged individually and sold in boxes of 12 units.
