RADIATION SHIELDING Lead Glass Radiation shielding glass has a 65% by weight Lead Oxide content, therefore, a relatively thin sheet of glass can achieve the density necessary to shield against Ionising Radiation. Our radiation shielding glass is used where transparent protection is required. Applications include medical and industrial such as vision panels, X-Ray screens and observation windows etc. (Other thicknesses are available. Please phone for details) Lead glass should only be used internally and glazed with dry beading or non-adhesive gaskets or foam tapes. Lead glass can be supplied with radius corners, cut-outs, drilled or as Lead glass cleaner. Glass etching with your own company LOGO.
