RADIATION SHIELDING Viewing Windows For use in CT and PET Scanner rooms for patient viewing during scanning procedures. A lead-lined timber frame window incorporating X-ray protective lead Generally speaking, the size of viewing windows will depend on the standard dimensions of lead glass. Heights are available to suit structural openings of 900 and 1100mm. Widths are available to suit openings upto 2100mm. Most timber finishes are available. Hardwoods are generally sealed to receive top coats on site by others. Softwood frames are supplied Fitting can be undertaken by any competent craftsman. However, care should be taken when handling Lead-glass which is very heavy. Envirotect offer a fitting service if required. All windows include for one set of shielded and one set of normal Lead glass cleaner is also available. Viewing windows are manufactured to customer's specification.
