Product catalog summary
Introduction
Envomed, developed by Maabarot Metal Works Ltd., offers an innovative on-site medical waste treatment solution. This solution addresses economic, safety, and environmental concerns associated with medical waste management.

Understanding Medical Waste
Medical waste, as defined by WHO, includes all waste generated by healthcare facilities. Approximately 15-20% of this waste is hazardous and infectious, contributing to significant health risks such as HIV and Hepatitis infections due to poor management.

Envomed 80 Technology
The Envomed 80 is a revolutionary in-house solution that shreds and sterilizes medical waste, eliminating the need for storage, transportation, and incineration. The process results in a liquid that can be safely discharged into the drainage system and a reduced volume of shredded waste for municipal disposal.

Biocetic Process
The Biocetic process involves shredding waste followed by sterilization using Peracetic Acid (PAA), achieving STAATT level IV sterilization. This process effectively eliminates resistant bacterial spores, ensuring the residue is non-toxic.

Performance and Efficiency
The Envomed 80 can treat up to 750 kg of waste per day, depending on the number of machines used. It reduces waste volume by up to 80% in under 15 minutes per cycle, with a power consumption of 0.9 kW/h.

Specifications and Compliance
The Envomed 80 is approved by the Israeli Ministry of Health and complies with international standards such as CE, ISO 9001:2015, and RoHS. It operates efficiently within specified temperature and humidity ranges.

Good Treatment Practice (GTP)
Envomed provides a GTP system for cost-effective on-site performance monitoring, ensuring the integrity of the sterilization process. Biological and chemical indicators are available for routine inspection.

Conclusion
Envomed offers a cutting-edge solution for medical waste treatment, enhancing safety and environmental sustainability while reducing costs and increasing productivity.

Biocetic - How does it work? As part of our solution, once the waste has been shredded, it goes through a sterilization process while being rigorously agitated. This process has been intensively studied and with years of research and development we have established the ultimate solution, eliminating resistant bacterial spores and sterilizes to STAATT level IV. The residue liquid is nontoxic and can be safely discharge down the regular drainage system. We call it 'Biocetic' - which is based on the known powerful sporocide Peracetic Acid (PAA).
