Product catalog summary
Overview
The DASGIP MX and MF4 modules by Eppendorf are designed for precise mass flow-controlled gassing in bioprocesses. These modules can be used as stand-alone units or integrated with DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor Systems and other third-party software, thanks to OPC communication.

Specifications
The DASGIP MX4/4 and MX4/1 modules allow for independent gas mixtures of up to four gases: air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. The MX4/4 supports up to four bioreactors with a constant flow rate of up to 250 sL/h, while the MX4/1 supports one bioreactor with a flow rate of up to 1,200 sL/h. Both modules ensure safe operation with integrated or external pressure sensors.

Gassing Strategies
These modules support cascaded control of dissolved oxygen (DO) in cell culture and microbiology. Users can define DO control strategies using DASware control software, allowing for automated and individualized DO management across vessels.

Mass Flow-Controlled Gassing
The DASGIP MF4 module provides mass flow-controlled gassing for up to four vessels, with individual flow rates and selectable gases for each vessel. It ensures safe operation with external pressure sensors and one-way valves.

Technical Data
All modules operate on a power supply of 110 – 240 V, 50/60 Hz, and have dimensions of 300 × 320 × 190 mm. They feature RS-232 digital interfaces and support various gas flow rates depending on the model.

Ordering Information
Various models are available with different flow rate capacities, and ordering numbers are provided for both integrated and stand-alone configurations.
