A multi-center study is investigating its advantages over the conventional TUR-B procedure, focusing on improved pathological assessment, tumor invasion assessability, and recurrence and progression rates.

Applications in Gastroenterology
In gastroenterology, the HybridKnife® facilitates procedures like Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), and Submucosal Tunneling Endoscopic Resection (STER). It allows for efficient resection of larger tumors with R0 technique and en bloc resection, protecting the muscularis layer from perforation.
