SPECIFICATION SHEET Essex Escort Pulse conserving regulators combine our premium oxygen regulators with a conserving device that dispenses the prescribed dose of oxygen triggered by the patient’s own breath. Where standard oxygen regulators dispense oxygen continuously which can deplete a cylinder in 1-2 hours, an Essex conserving regulator will lengthen the cylinder life up to 6-8 hours. ESCORT PULSE CONSERVER DUAL LUMEN Essex dual lumen conserving regulators offer the widest range of flow rates in the industry. Similar devices begin with an initial flow rate of 1 L/min, while the Escort conserver’s initial flow rate setting is 0.25 L/min. Essex conservers do not require batteries, and operate in either continuous or pulse flow. The dual lumen technology covers the majority of the patient population, making it the ideal solution for respiratory therapy.
