Product catalog summary
Overview: The ETG MCA 100 SYN series is a multicomponent gas analyzer designed for Syngas measurement applications. It offers high accuracy, stability, and reliability, with a broad measurement range and various form factors. The analyzer uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology for gases like CO2, CO, and CH4, and a thermoconductivity detector (TCD) for H2, with proprietary algorithms to correct for interferences.
Key Features:
  • Cross sensitivity compensation
  • ARM processor and touch screen monitor
  • Ethernet and USB connectivity
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Suitable for Syngas and Hythane plants, research centers, and system integrators
User Interface: The device features a 7” resistive touch screen and offers USB, Ethernet, and 4-20mA communication options. It includes a sample conditioning system and automatic autozero functionality.
Specifications:
  • Response time: <1 second data refresh rate
  • Warm-up time: 10-20 minutes
  • Operating temperature: 0° to 70° C
  • Operating altitude: -300 to 3,000 m
  • Power supply: 230/115 V, 50/60 Hz, 50 W consumption
Technical Data:
  • NDIR for Methane: 0-100% range, +/-1% accuracy
  • NDIR for CO2 and CO: 0-40% range, +/-1% accuracy
  • Electrochemical sensor for Oxygen: 0-25% range, +/-2% accuracy
  • TCD for Hydrogen: 0-100% range, +/-2% accuracy
  • NDIR for Hydrocarbons: 0-20% range, +/-1% accuracy

ETG MCA 100 SYN multicomponent gas analyzer for Syngas O2, CO2, CO, CH4, H2, CnHm MONITORING Suitable for applications: • Syngas Plants • Hythane Plants • Research Center • Syngas System Integrator The ETG MCA 100 SYN series of gas analyzers by ETG are the ideal solution for Syngas measurement applications because of their accuracy, stability, reliability, broad measurement range, and the variety of available form factors. Unlike other analyzers, ETG MCA 100 SYN P non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) gas analyzers measure multiple gases in the instrument in special wavelenght regions, interferences free from the other components. The TCD detector used for H2 analysis is automatically corrected via proprietary algorithm for possible interferences by other gases. ETG analyzers have the ability to measure CH4, CO2, CO, CnHm, H2 and O2 providing the optimal combination of gases for Syngas process optimization. The enhanced optics and electronics of our NDIR analyzers have virtually eliminated zero drift after the initial warm up period. The temperature and pressure compensation eliminates the major causes of span drift in the instruments. USER INTERFACE OVERVIEW • Cross sensitivity compensation • Arm processor • Touch Screen monitor • Ethernet and USB Remoting • Low cost of ownership ETG Risorse e Tecnologia S.r.l. — Via Baione 2/K 10034 Chivasso (IT) — Tel: +39 011 192.708.90 — email: [email protected] https
