IV Cannula with Injection Port and Radio Opaque Strips D 3.1 The IV Cannula is indicated for general patient use in a clinical setting. 3.2 The product is designed for use by a qualified physician or clinician and professional medical staff. 3.3 The device is intended for use in the general patient population. 4.2 Administration of highly viscous fluids. 4.3 Administration of irritant fluids of drugs. 4.4 Color-coded for easier identification. 5.2 Not for insertion into blood or plasma containers. 5.3 Do not use scissors. Take extreme care not to cut catheter. 5.5 Do not reuse. Reuse of device can result in contamination or transmit disease. 3 Indications for Use/Target Users 6.1 There are no recognized contraindications for the use of IV Cannulas. 7.1 IV Cannulas are sterilized by EO gas sterilization (indicated by jSTEWLElE°l) single use only. 7.4 Inspect each package prior to use. 7.5 Do not use the device if any seal or cavity is damaged ® or breached or if the expiration date has been exceeded. Once opened, the device must be used or discarded. 1 Device Description CAUTION: U.S Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician (or properly licensed practitioner). 1.1 The IV Cannula is a single-use device for use with disposable syringe or disposable infusion/transfusion set for medicine infusion and blood collection. 2.1 The IV Cannula is intended for infusions of fluids such as solutions, parenteral nutrition fluids and administration of other drugs. 2.2 It is also intended for maintaining hydration and/or correct dehydration in patients who are unable to take sufficient volume of oral fluids. 2.3 The IV Cannula is also intended for transfusion of blood or blood components.

8.1 Select the proper type and size of IV Cannula. Always use the smallest size cannula possible to adequately deliver the desired IV fluids. 8.2 Carefully select and clean the venipuncture site. 8.3 Inspect cannula package for integrity and expiration, then remove cannula from package. 8.4 Remove needle cover and grip the cannula from the injection port cap and needle hub projection. 8.5 Insert cannula into the vein at a low angle and check for blood in flashback chamber to ensure proper venipuncture. 8.6 Advance the catheter into vein and simultaneously withdraw the needle gently. 8.7 Do not...
