In addition, it is torsion and kinking free. The smooth wire guarantees easy and traumatic free passage within the veins as well as quick and problem-free shedding of the stripper veins. Thus the extended varicose veins can be quickly controlled for tributary venous vessels and these can be searched specifically and then ligated. This insures a traumatic free and time saving application. The strippers are available with or without olives and handle, ISOMed • 2000 101 2000 102 to allow cost reductions when olives and handle are not used. A broad handle ensures effective and time-saving stripping of the veins. The handle may be set at either end. The special designed olives, which can be clipped on each wire end after the wire passes through the vein, enable a retrograde as well as an anterogade stripping, independent from distal or proximal access. The vein strippers are provided with four different olives of 6, 9, 12 and 15 mm diameter. Z.A.
