Due to the design characteristics the FIXUS22 can be used for very tiny fractures; the fixator can be as short as 3.2cm. One of the unique features of the FIXUS22 is the dynamic flexion. The left picture shows the dynamic flexion device mounted in the open position. To minimize stress, the total length does not vary, regardless of the status (open or closed).
