Gear Pump MG300 series

Gear Pump MG300 series

Product catalog summary
Overview: The MG300 series magnet drive gear pumps are designed for precision fluid delivery across various specialized applications. They maintain consistent performance regardless of temperature due to their advanced design.
Design and Materials: These pumps feature a seal-less design with magnetic transmission for leak-proof operation. Static seals are available in materials like PTFE™, NBR, VITON®, EPDM, and SILICON to ensure compatibility with different fluids. The pump housing and internal parts are made from AISI 316 L stainless steel, with gears and bushings available in Peek™, Ceramic Peek™, or PTFE™.
Performance: The MG300 series operates quietly and without pulsation, handling liquids up to 120 °C (248 F). They can function across various pressure ranges due to different magnet materials.
Applications: Suitable for medical and surgical equipment, hemodialysis, laser apparatus, lubrication, ink-jet printing, cooling systems, laboratory instrumentation, water treatment, sampling, food processing, and sanitization.
Technical Specifications: The pump housing is stainless steel with 1/8” GAS or NPT ports. The MG304 model weighs 514 g (1.1 lb) and has a speed limit of 5000 rpm. Maximum static pressure is 20 bar (290 psi). Temperature range for Peek™ and Ceramic Peek™ is -45 to 120 °C (-49 to 248 F), and for PTFE™ is -45 to 50 °C (-49 to 122 F). Maximum vacuum is 724 mmHg (28.5 inHg) with a wet lift of approximately 8m (26.7 ft).
Additional Notes: Specifications are based on water at 20 °C (68 F) without a relief valve. Customers must validate fluids other than water. Non-ambient temperature requirements must be specified in orders. A filter no larger than 10 microns should be used before the pump inlet.
Specifications: The document includes torque measurements, operating ranges with ferrite and rare earth magnets, and viscosity ratings from 1 cP to 210 cP.
Procedures and Standards: Fluid-o-Tech reserves the right to alter specifications without notice, a standard disclaimer in technical documents.
Model Number Matrix: Customization details for pump models based on magnet type, series, gear width, connections, relief valve, gear material, static seal material, and housing material.
Contact Information: Contact details for Fluid-o-Tech offices in the USA, Italy, Japan, and China are provided.

Gear Pump MG300 series-1

• Medical and surgical equipment • Hemodialysis apparatus • Laser apparatus • Lubrication • Ink-Jet printing systems • Cooling systems • Laboratory instrumentation • Water treatment • Sampling • Food processing equipment • Sanitization The MG300 series magnet drive gear pumps are compact precision performance pumps for a wide range of specialized applications. Thanks to the improved design, the MG300 series grant a more accurate and uniform delivery regardless of the fluid temperature. The seal less design with the magnetic transmission of the rotation is guarantee of a leak proof product. Static seals are available in PTFE™ / NBR / VITON® / EPDM / SILICON, in order to guarantee the highest chemical compatibility with a wide range of fluids. The housing of the pump and the internal metal parts are in AISI 316 L stainless steel while gears and bushings are available in Peek™, Ceramic Peek™ or PTFE™. In operation the MG300 series pumps are noiseless, pulsation-free and capable of handling relatively high temperature liquids (up to 120 °C or 248 F) with low coefficient of expansion. Operation at different pressures ranges is possible thanks to a choice of materials for the magnets. Available upon request: • Rare earths driven magnet TECHNICAL INFORMATION * Priming ability varies with operating conditions and fluid characteristics
